The Unmasking Of The Witch

The wicked witch transforms herself
A beautiful angel she emerges as
She has the smile that lights up the universe
And a touch so warm, you'd believe she really cares

The moon shone bright that November night
When he first laid his eyes on her
He feasted his eyes on the magnificent sight
He fell so far, so deep, there's no way he'd recover

He believes her angelic ways are heavenly
He leaves his heart at her disposal
He fails to realise that angels sometimes fall
She's now got him under her spell; he's somewhat incapable

Her performance improves by the moment
She perfects it well; every inch, every curve
Now that she has him to have and to hold
She can play the field and still bask in his love

When her mask is ripped off her pretty face
The darkness within is unleashed
Every lie, every word, every cut begins to surface
He soon understands that she's had him on a leash

May his heart be set free and his soul replenished
May she find her real "prince charming"
For being the wicked witch is not who she's meant to be
Hopefully she'll find her true calling.
